SpineMed Disc Decompression with the SpineMed Table has proven to be safe and without side effects or complications once abnormal conditions have been ruled out.
Common conditions treated include Disc herniations, protrusions and bulges. Varying degrees of osteoarthritis/degenerative joint disease, spinal facet syndrome and sciatica.
Below is a list of conditions that are not compatible with spinal decompression.
- Pregnancy
- Spinal fusion with hardware
- Severe osteoporosis
- Fractures
- Infection
- Hemorrhagic conditions
- Bone cancer
- Acute inflammatory arthritides
- Progressive neurological loss
It is safe and effective for patients who have had spinal surgery but have not had any foreign devices (screws, plates, and cages) inserted as part of their procedure. A history and exam would rule out these conditions.
